| My love of antiques originated in my childhood when I collected and, in a small way, dealt in all kinds of old and interesting objects. At this time there was an abundance of ‘buyable’ furniture and collectables, fashioned from some of the most beautiful raw materials this planet has supplied.
I specialise in the restoration of good antiques including period barometers, local longcase clocks, fine furniture and collectables. In today’s atmosphere of conservation and sustainability, the antique is an essential factor in preservation and recycling. The sympathetic restoration and care of antiques is an enduring pleasure with the inevitable add-on of increased value in the space of one generation. Hartland has been my base for 12 years out of over 30 years of dealing; I look forward to meeting prospective customers and enthusiasts for many years to come.
