| Merlyn Chesterman is a painter/printmaker. She grew up and lived for many years in Asia, and studied Fine Art at Bath Academy of Art, Corsham. Merlyn uses elm, lime, sycamore and cedar for her woodcuts, printing on to oriental papers. She is also involved in public art projects, and teaches short courses at West Dean College, Chichester, and in Hartland, where she has a studio. Merlyn also works for Devon County Council with the Pupils out of School Team, so please phone first if you want to make sure that she is in.
