Merlyn Chesterman and Rod Nelson have taken on an exciting project in Albania. The picture shows one of the Communist - era blocks on the main boulevard in Albania's capital Tirana, which they will transform this Summer. The second image shows one of the designs Merlyn and Rod submitted to Edi Rama, the Mayor of Tirana.
They have been given the go - ahead, and will go over in April and take measurements, before looking for sponsorship for the project for themselves and a small film crew who will make a documentary of the process. They are working with the Municipality of Tirana, and students from the art college will paint the building, overseen by Merlyn and Rod.
